Thank you for allowing us to share with you the reason why we feel so strongly about creating publishing opportunities for our students.  We want our students to have an audience; an audience that will praise their work and get it beyond a posting on the front of a refrigerator door or classroom wall.

In making publication a priority in our classrooms, the response from parents as well as from students has been phenomenal.  The publication process empowers our students to pursue more writing.  They can’t wait for another writing challenge.

We hope that we have encouraged those of you who have said, “I can’t do one more thing in my classroom.”   Make print communications a priority.  We challenge you NOT to abandon this idea before you try it.  Let us know how to help and encourage YOU!
