In her book Reading for the Love Of It, Michele Landsberg says, "The child who comes to school already having experienced the deep satisfactions of listening to stories is, as any teacher can testify, a privileged student, far ahead of the others in literacy skills, attention span, responsiveness to ideas, and capacity for abstraction."
In this session it was our desire to rekindle the joy and fascination you had as a child for the wonderful world of books.  We hope you laughed with us, remembered with us, and dreamed with us as we shared ways in which books creatively inspire children both academically and whimsically.
May God richly bless you as you serve Him through the children.

Our [ever growing] Book List

This book list was compiled by the Classical Homeschooling Organization.  We sincerely thank them for allowing us to make this list available to you.   Please visit their website for more information.  We strongly recommend that you read a book in its entirety before making it a part of your C.L.I.P. program.  No other organization including ours, has the same standards as goals as you do for your students.  You must take personal responsibility for the books you recommend.
